Election Information
The Village of Auburndale operates one polling place for voting in elections, the Auburndale Village Hall, located at 5988 1st Street. This polling place is shared with the Town of Auburndale.
To vote in Wisconsin you must first register to vote. You can start the process online at My Vote WI. You can also register in person at the local municipal clerk's office, with a special registration deputy or at the polling place on Election Day.
Some voters must submit "proof of residence" with their voter registration. Some examples of proof of residence including the following:
- A current and valid Wisconsin driver's license or identification card.
- A real estate tax bill or receipt for the current year and the year preceding the date of the election
- Bank statement
- Pay check
- Residential lease that is effective on date of registration (not valid if registering by mail)
- A gas, electric or telephone statement (utility bill) for the period commencing no earlier than 90 days before Election Day
Polling places are open on Election Day from 7:00am to 8:00pm.
