The Auburndale Joint Fire Department was established in 1963 to provide services designed to minimize loss of life and property. This department services to a population of 1500 residents in an area of 45 square miles. This fire station is located at 5324 County Road P. The department currently has 28 members.

The Auburndale Joint Fire Department provides a wide range of services which includes: Firefighting, Emergency Medical Service, Vehicle Rescue (Extraction) and other community services.
